Farnborough Airport Emergency Power

YorPower have supplied and installed a 250kVA generator at TAG Farnborough airport in Hampshire.

The generator will provide emergency backup power to critical systems enabling the airport to continue flight operations even if the mains power fails.

In addition to being a fully functioning commercial airport Farnborough is world renowned for the international air show that takes place there. Slightly less well know is that the airport was the site of the first powered flight in Britain in 1908.
